Dr. Tammy Boyette is a native Texan and career educator with 34 years’ experience. Currently, she is leading as a Superintendent and an Adjunct Professor. Prior to this role, she had the privilege of opening Ridge Point High School in Fort Bend ISD in 2010, serving as its first principal. Before that, Tammy was the principal at Gentry Junior School in Goose Creek CISD. Dr. Boyette began her career as a high school teacher/coach before moving into administration as an assistant principal. Tammy has served in rural, urban and suburban school settings ranging in size from class 3A to 6A with students from all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. From this wide range of experience, she has learned that “kids are kids - no matter their background or zip code; and, that what matters most in delivering a great education is not fancy programs, but a high-quality teacher.”
Tammy was born into a family of educators where both parents were school administrators, as are both her sisters. Tammy herself is a proud product of public school. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and both her Master's and Doctorate degrees from the University of Houston. She is married to John; proud mother of four amazing young adults: Vallen, Vance, Vince and Victoria; “Sweet T” to Myles and Carter; and fur mama to Buffy and Brady.
